The Oceanside Girls Softball Association is currently recruitingplayers for its 12 and younger division. Players must have beenborn between Jan. 1, 1989 and Jan. 1, 1990. Rotary selects representatives

  • The San Marcos Rotary Club has selected Stefanie Diaz, LisaKodadek, Theresa Strawn and Brittney Leavitt to represent SanMarcos High School at the 2001 Rotary Youth Leadership Awardsconference at Idyllwild Pines March 23-25. The students wereselected based on their strong leadership potential, academicachievement and involvement in extracurricular activities.

Academic fair planned

  • The city will hold its 2001 Young Scholars Academic Fair from 9a.m. to 3 p.m. March 10 at the city’s Community Services Departmentoffices, 3 Civic Center Drive.
